2020 album - "Addiction"
"Addiction" will be released in 2020. This project takes an intimate perspective inside the many issues that G-Shaw struggles with regarding his "Addiction". "Addiction" addresses the issues of how G-Shaw is caught between two worlds, balancing the corporate world by day and The Garden State Great at night. While he deals with this consistent day to day issue, there is always a situation where the ego is constantly tested. "Addiction" also discusses the intimate issues regarding his favorite drug, family relationships, racism, the daily routine, company wage increases as well as having courage and using that courage to give you power. Talk about trailblazers? This man is single handedly bringing the tenants of Hip Hop to an entirely new audience. Rap over Jazz??? Not a problem for this man! As MC, he is “The King of the Impromptu” because he can size up an audience and incorporate them into his Freestyle Rap. He constantly expands his musical horizon through hard work and study. He has opened up for notables such as KRS-One and Rakim. His skill set is opening up new horizons for many generations who didn’t understand Hip Hop.
